Be cautious of the other reviews (especially ones with photos). In the box, you get a “golden ticket” for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card. The way you get the chance to win the gift card is to post a 5-star review with a “happy” picture of your dog with the stake. You can find this exact stake design (carbon copy) for about $5 less from other Amazon sellers (just different brand).My one cane corso, around 100 or so pounds, pulled this out several times within the hour. I put in in the ground all the way until the flat piece on the top would not go down any more, then about 10 minutes later, he would be walking around. I would move it to another area and try again. After the fourth time of being pulled out, I gave up. It is now bent. The second one I have, for a 65 pound cane corso, is doing just fine.UPDATE: I updated to say that the second stake is now starting to get pulled out a lot more now. Pulled out three times today (most likely because of the rain). Normally, it is just once a week that it gets pulled out. For the safety aspect, the cheap-o, $4 corkscrew stakes you get from bix box stores work just as good. Matter of fact, I am using one instead of this product for safety reasons.

I bought this stake for it big beautiful Great Pyrenees, they are runners and we needed a good quality stake and lead for camping.
This paired with the lead is strong and great quality. I put her on her 30 ft lead and turned around, I immediately heard her lead, she had ran to try to play with a passing dog and the lead stopped her no problem! She doesn’t mind being on the lead because she has 30 ft and doesn’t feel confined! We are able to relax knowing she can’t just take off, because she’s fast!
The customer service with this company is amazing! They’ve been in contact with us since we bought it to make sure it’s working great and that we’re happy with it.
I highly recommend this product and purchasing for this company! Now I’m looking to buy the harness and leash.

I was very impressed how well the stake and lead worked, even in rather damp soil. I have a 53lb. Siberian Husky Mix, who is quite the puller, so I was worried. It all worked out perfectly. I will say, though, that I had the lead attached to her front clip on her harness…I don’t think that really mattered, though. It was easy to install and easy to take it out of the ground.

This product is the real deal! I tested it with both of my ridiculously strong dogs attached as they went after multiple squirrels and rabbits and it never budged! I have a 2 yr old pit mix that weighs 70 lbs and a 3 year old pit mix that weighs 45 lbs, however I don’t recommend hooking multiple dogs to just one because the lines get tangled easily, but in a pinch it’ll hold up.

I have a 55 lb dog. I took this to the beach so she could walk around sort of freely since dogs had to be leashed. It was very sturdy and did not budge out of the ground.

This time-out stake is solid. Every detail was thought out when designing and crafting it, comes with a very nice bag, a flag to mark it. Very sturdy and travels well with the bag.

We bought this product for a camping trip that we took a few months back. We have a German shepherd/husky mix and a pit bull that we put on JUST ONE of these stakes. It held in the ground even when both dogs were pulling to get at a random squirrel that got too close or when we had food that they really wanted. I could not believe that it did not even budge.
Great product and recommend completely. 👏🏻

I like almost everything about this product. It looks and feels sturdy, it comes in a high-quality box. I like the general marketing and message of the company. However the claim that it will never bend has been false for me (see attached picture.) I’m not sure how they did the video where an ATV pulls on this thing, if my 50 lb border collie was able to bend it like this. Now it’s a bit awkward to screw in. I would still buy it over a regular corkscrew-style tie-out from a pet store if you can get it at a comparable price, but don’t expect it to be invincible or last a lifetime.

very sturdy and durable. it survived getting run over by a drive lawnmower with only a bit of a gash. it remained basically fully intact. Easy to install and uninstall if change in position needed. the little red flag provided is so useful (when used). Finally a stake I can trust not to break, bend, or fall over or fall out no matter how much my very strong dog challenges it.

I was nervous after reading reviews saying to ignore positive reviews due to it being part of a promotion. I’m very happy I went ahead and purchased anyways! My dog is about 40 pounds but she is very strong and would pull out the spiral ones no problem. I do check on it every few days to ensure it’s still sturdy. This has not budged even with endless days of rain! The cord has also not gotten caught or wrapped up when tied to this. Highly recommend this product!

This thing is simply amazing. I recommend this to anyone who has a dog. It’s not the easiest to put into the ground but there is no way any dog is ripping it out of the ground. And if your dog bent it like some of these other reviews, that’s because you didn’t install it properly. If installed properly no dog is going to bend it or rip it out of the ground. ( I have 2 Siberian Huskies tied to mine) Buy it it’s worth more than they sell it for. You will never need to buy a new one if taken care of properly and not left out all year around in snow and rain.

It’s evident that a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of the user experience with this particular product. The magnetized box is designed to hold everything in place and is strong enough to continue storing the stake in for a long time. It comes with a lever (although you could use anything at hand including a stick) and a flag so you don’t trip over the low-profile black loop once you’ve put it in the ground. I don’t have very strong hands/arms but it was easy to install after watching the video on their website. Based on materials and design, it seems built to last. I really appreciate the simple brilliance of the tangle-free leash attachment – with a 100-Lb dog I’m way more confident that this is going to hold up than with the typical 2-3 part versions where a much smaller loop is held onto the stake with a small pin.
