Low maintenence, easy to clean, great price.

This product is awesome. Low maintenance. I clean it once a month. I don’t know what all the other people are complaining about the with the loudness. I upgraded from another Petsafe drinking fountain and they sound identical. This one just holds more water and the filter is better.

Mine recently went out and they no longer sale it so I decided to try this one out because I have 5 dogs and I needed a large water fountain. This thing is GREAT! It’s quiet and it extremely simple to put together. Just follow the steps in the instructions to make sure you have everything facing the right direction and that you have all the pieces. FOR THE ABOVE VIDEO WITH ONE STAR!! There is no flow of water because the pump clearly does not have 2 pieces that are suppose to enclose the fan piece to allow pressure. Liiikkeee how did you miss that?? This is why there is instructions! Lol.
Yes you have to clean these things, like you do every dog fountain. It does not filter out dog food crumbs or foam from dog spit. But it’s a great way to give your dog fresh miving water!

We purchased this plastic fountain to replace our previous porcelain pagoda fountain (hard water and construction debris destroyed the porcelain fountain). This new one was easy to set up however it is plastic and a bit flimsy in areas. The plastic fountain holds much less water than the porcelain type (plastic = 3 cups, porcelain = 1/2 gallon). The sound of flowing water isn’t as loud as the porcelain fountain so if you are looking for a quiet fountain this would be great. The pump is strong and so far (it’s been 2 months) we have not had to clean it out.

Would be 5 star. My only issue is the filtration process isn’t 100%. Much of the water is able to bypass the filter through a gap. That said; my dogs drink more water than they ever have bc of the running water feature. I will either patch up the gap or run with no filter. Dogs don’t seem to care.

I bought this to replace a much smaller version (different company) that I had purchased at Costco. This one is perfect for two dogs–one very large and the other on the medium size. I was constantly refilling the smaller one and not so with this fountain. Additionally, it is super easy to add water to since it is open, the noise is negligible (and I like that you can adjust it) and I was able to put it together quickly and easily (which is saying something for me because I am not mechanically inclined). I have had no issues with sudsing like other reviews and I am easily able to clean it and lift it when it’s full of water.

My sweet marshmallow dogs would not go near the fountain, they seem to be s bit afraid to drink from it because it was new to them. I turned off the running water so they could get use to this water fountain bowel. Later this evening one of my dogs drank from it. My GSD tend to slop water when they drink. I knew they would get use to it.

I was given a link video on how to assemble the fountain. Also I was given another link video about the process of cleaning this product. With the support, instructions and links, I put it together and it functions beautifully. At has a very nice appearance in my kitchen. No leaks, no problems. With 4 dogs, filling the water dish happens multiple times a day. Although this still has to be filled daily, the circulation water keeps the basin from getting gross, and it only needs to be cleaned once a week.

Switched to this since there’s 4 dogs in the house and they need a lot of water . This works great and isn’t so noisy it’s obnoxious, although you will hear the little stream. It still needs regular cleaning, but it saves me from having to do it as much as a regular bowl

This water fountain is hard to clean and put back together. After using of a year it stopped working. The electric cord is very thin and easy to damage if you are not extra careful. The foam filter is not very useful in keeping hair and food out of the pump. You must be very careful in placement of the pump so that you do not dislodge that filter. I would never recommend this bowl to anyone. I wish I had requested my money back.

Product arrived and does not work and you are not allowed to return it. Disappointed in Petsafe and terivpy disappointed in Amazon. Since when are ANY Prime eligible items not returnable?

My puppies new favorite water bowl

Assembly was quite simple.
Noise level is pretty good, I like the sound of a fountain so it could be louder and I still woudnt complain.
Holds alot of water.
Remembering back to fish tanks I was a little concerned with the pump acting like a heater and making the water turn warm after a while.
This dosent seem to be the case. After days the water still feels cool and room temp.

Me gustó mucho, la instalación sencilla y rápida. Aún no me toca lavarlo pero no se ve difícil de hacer, no me convencía que fuera de plástico, pero como tiene agua siempre a mi Perrin no le da tentación morderla.
Ahora, mi perro no le gusta mucho prendida, si toma de ella pero se acerca más cuando está apagada, no le gusta el ruido que hace.
Yo la recomiendo, es de excelente tamaño, hace ruido pero no es algo extremo (mi perro es delicado jajaja).

Exactly what I needed

We bought one of the original PetSafe drinkwell units about 10 years ago. It was fantastic. Our vet recommend this for our cat who developed the need to drink ONLY from a running water source. The pump finally stopped working on the original and instead of buy just a new pump, we decided to buy a new unit. The new design is more difficult to both assemble and clean but I am happy with the additional filter that will help keep fur out of the pump. The pump is slightly more quiet than our old unit.

L’eau reste fraîche et propre. Jai 1 chien (labernois) et 5 chat. J’ai enlevé tous les bol pour ne laisser que l’abreuvoir. Honnêtement mais animaux boivent plus d’eau qu’au paravent!! Le seul petit hic c’est qu’on entend un peux le jet d’eau. Rien de bien grave sachant tous le bien être et les points positifs que sa apportes. Je recommande pour tous seux qui on une grosse famille d’animaux!
